Dupuis Restaurant

Oyster stew and the bread were incredible. The orange tarragon seafood fettuccine Alfredo special was way to sweet and tasted like orange rolls. The service was good and I was offered a substitute but I wasn't feeling it at that point... still got charged. I would recommend sticking to the normal menu. I'm giving 4 stars for the oyster stew and the bread.

Recently came here with my dad, and his last time here was as a boy when his parents took him here in the 60s for spaghetti and fresh crab, they didnt have that today but what they did have was out of this world.The oyster stew is to die for, tons of little oysters in it. And they had a blackberry martini, but was so good it was dangerous ;) and the blackberries came from there back yard! Had the clam linguine and it was great fresh and reheated the next day. When I'm in the area again I will definatly be stopping by.

We had steak and seafood fettuccine and loved both! The creamy fettuccine has a very unique slightly fruity flavor that pairs nicely with the cod and shrimp. Seafood tastes fresh and cooked well to preserve the nice fresh seafood texture and taste. The steak is cooked to medium exactly and very juicy and tender. The mushroom sauce and potatoes are very nice as well. This place is so underrated compared to some of the restaurants that I have been to in downtown Port Angeles. I would come again next time I visit the area.

This place is easily my favorite place to eat in the Sequim - Port Angeles area. It has also been an important part of my relationship with my wife. Great food and a great atmosphere make this an amazing place to take your significant other to for a date.

Good food and server but slow. Old decor and a bit dark.

My wife had the salmon, salad, coconut martini and I had seafood fettuccine, oyster stew and we shared a piece of almond. Everything was outstanding. One of our best meals ever, anywhere.

Love the atmosphere. Excellent food and the dessert beyond decicant!! Service is friendly and attentive, but not over bearing!! A special treat to celebrate any occasion!

Love dining in this unique restaurant. We had a corner table with windows through which we enjoyed the snowfall. Waitress said this was their Vermont experience.

Very cute restaurant, with a 40s style, old grace to it. I enjoyed the crab cakes. Good value.

Love this restaurant if there were more stars I would give them. The food was incredible. Best salad since we left home! Talk about a culinary treat. Do yourself a favor, eat here.

Found this place looking for good pasta and seafood and we weren’t disappointed! Erin was an awesome server. Her raspberry martinis were delicious and the oyster stew was great! We definitely want to come back and try some more dishes on the menu.

Amazing food and service! Quaint atmosphere!

We ate at Dupuis for the first time last night and it was above our expectations. The crab cakes set a new standard for excellence that are above and beyond any I've tried in some other outstanding restaurants.My husband had the seafood fettuccini, prepared individually, not as a big batch back in the kitchen and it was very good. I had the steak Dupuis, the steak was tender, tasty topped with crab and a reduction sauce. Wonderful dessert tray completed the meal.The ambiance is quaint, after all it is a log cabin, with white linen tablecloths and candles and old fashioned replicated electric oil lamps. It was very cozy and reminded us of eating in Grandmas dining room.Do give this jewel a try for a unique dining experience. Going back next week before continuing our travels.

My wife and I had our weekly “date night” and we decided to go to Dupuis because we always have such a pleasant time. The food is very good ‘comfort’ food and service is exceptional. I had the pork Osso buco and my wife had the petite fillet with crab on top. Both dishes were very good. The oyster stew starter is outstanding and I highly recommend it. The overall ambiance is that of your parents house - cozy and friendly

Seafood Gnocchi is A MUST HAVE!!! ♥️♥️♥️ Perfect texture!! And the taste! It's as if it was hand crafted by the gods themselves!!!

The food was very good. Ambiance was a little dark for my liking & seating in the booths were hardwood that got rather uncomfortable over the course of an hour or so it took from start to finish, excluding dessert since the dinner got us pretty full. They bring out a tray of 4-5 dessert options & they did look pretty good, so might be worth saving room for it if you can.The place had live entertainment on the Saturday night we were there; an older guy at the piano , singing/playing songs mostly from 70's & 80's, but did a decent job if that's what you like.External appearance is deceiving, as it doesn’t look great as you drive by or pull in, but it's nicer on the inside & would definitely recommend just based on food quality if nothing else.

Contrary to other reviews we didn't have a good experience. It was a special night for us so we thought we would try Dupuis and splurge. Its very cute and unique inside and waitstaff was nice. We were seated immediately but waited a long time for someone to ask us for drinks. I can appreciate busy but not when tables seated after us were helped 1st. Finally we ordered drinks and noticed everyone else were getting theirs and here we are waiting again. She forgot! We ordered Rib eye and my husbands was ok but mine was too rare. I sent it back and the cook must have been ticked as it came back so well done that I could barely cut it. Also I know rib eye has fat but this was very fatty. At home we noticed it was charred on the bottom. Really?? Not ok for 35.00 steaks. I was upset as we dropped a 100 bill on a lousy dinner. Most expensive and worse steaks ever. Can't afford another dinner so this yrs anniversary was ruined. My advice: don't go here for a special occasion.

Haven't been there for years. Took Mom there for her 80th birthday and had a wonderful time. The food was delicious, service thoughtful and atmosphere takes you to another time!

Probably the worst pasta dish ever. Seafood fettuccine special with an orange tarragon sauce. Should’ve known better. The sauce tasted like orange coffee creamer and the scallops and “fresh local salmon” tasted like they were last week’s leftovers from Golden Corral. Breakfast buffet with the fruit garnish on the plate was lame. Service was good. The guy on piano with recorded back up was probably the best thing of the whole experience..

This place was perfect! Great atmosphere, music, and delicious food. I will definitely be back soon.
